Shimla: It can well be said that Himachal is becoming the second home to Israelites after the Promised Land itself. No wonder, a village in Dharamshala is called the Tel Aviv of India, or the fact that the Israeli government had recently sent Rabbis to Himachal to not let the ‘boys’ deviate from the faith. And this time the Israeli embassy has come up with the idea of holding an exhibition on ‘Jerusalem in old maps’ in Shimla, which will showcase the cartography history of the holy city.

The only problem being that last time such an exhibition had run into rough weather when the Israeli government was accused of using the National Museum in New Delhi for Zionist propaganda in the guise of an exhibition.

The exhibition, being held in collabaration with the Himachal government, will be held from May 15 till May 21 at the Himachal Pradesh State Museum. It will showcase maps and other pictoral representations of Jerusalem and Israeli history.
