High reaches receive fresh snowfall in HP

The inclement weather continues to prevail in the State as tribal district recorded more snowfall and down streams were lashed with light rainfall. The Met office recorded about 10 cm fresh snow at Kalpa in Kinnaur, Keylong in Lahaul Spiti two cm. The high reaches of Lahaul Spiti, Kullu and Kinnaur also recorded light to moderate spell of snowfall.

 

Tourist resort Dalhousie got 14 mm rainfall, Saluni 10 mm,  Chamba 7 mm,  tourist resort Manali five mm and Shimla town  3.8 mm. The rest of state was mainly dry and partly cloudy today.

 

The minimum temperature dip by two to three degrees in last 24 hours as Keylong was low at minus eight degrees, Kalpa minus three Manali 1.2 degrees, Bhuntar 4.6 degrees, Shimla 5. 3 degrees,Chamba as at six degrees, Solan 6.6 degrees Palampur in Kangra and Sundernagar in Mandi seven degrees. Bilaspur eight degrees, Mandi 8.6 degrees, Hamirpur 10.3 degrees, Dharamshala and Una 10.4 Degrees and Nahan and Mandi 12.6 and 12.8 degrees.

 

The Met office forecast mainly dry weather in the State during next 24 hours.
