HP inks MOU with Nestle to setup its Rs13.19 Cr. unit

Dharamshala: Himachal Pradesh government has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Nestle to set up its unit at Tahaliwal in Una district of Himachal Pradesh under Santokhgarh assembly. This was disclosed by State Industry Minister Kishan Kappor in written reply to a query in state assembly here today. Replying to a query raised by Mukesh Agnihotri, Kishan Kappor said that Rs13,19,13,775 project is being proposed by Nestle for which the firm has deposited advance money of Rs10 Lakh with the state government. He said that Nestle has also signed an agreement with HIMUDA( Himachal Pradesh Urband Development Authority) to allot land for the agro unit. He said that state agency is yet to allot the land being finalised.
