Shimla: About 40 passangers of Shimla bound HRTC night bus service escaped unhurt when two wheel of one side of bus went off road in the wee hours of this morning. The bus was safely pulled up on the road, police official said. Shimla bound Shimla-Manali night HRTC bus partly went off the road at 0430hrs this morning near Shalaghat in Solan district when it was passing a narrow passage. The front and rear wheel of one side were almost off the road, but it tangled on a parafit escaping major tragedy. The passengers were evacuated from the misbalanced bus one by one and they were made to exit from the driver window. The driver succeeded to control the speeding bus before it could fall down the steep hill. Later, the rescue teams pulled up the bus on road, but traffic remained suspended on the NH-88 for many hours in between Shalaghart and Dharalaghat.
