Rainfall lashes in many parts of Himachal

Rainfall lashed many parts of Himachal Pradesh in the last 24 hours bringing down the mercury drastically.

 

Ghumarwin in Bilaspur recorded 74 mm rainfall, Bijahi in Mandi 51 mm, Arki in Solan 48 mm, Palampur 26 mm, Dharamshala 16 mm, Bilaspur 11 mm, Baijnath in Palampur & Gohar in Mandi 7 mm each, Paonta sahib in Sirmaur 6 mm, Jubbarhatti in Shimla, Bharmaur in Chamba & Pandoh in Mandi 5 mm rain each, Banjar in Kullu & Bajaura 4  mm each, Dharampur in Mandi, Kasauli in Solan, Berthin in Bilaspur 3 mm each, Sujanpur in Hamirpur 3 mm, Manali in Kullu and Sunnibajji of Shimla 1 mm each respectively.

 

The minimum temperature of Shimla was recorded at 14.2 degrees, Sundernagar 19 degrees, Bhuntar 14 degrees, Kalpa 7.4 degrees, Dharamshala 18.6 degrees, Una 24 degrees, Nahan 16.5 degrees, Keylong 9.4 degrees, Palampur 16 degrees, Solan 14.8 degrees, Manali 7.6 degrees, Kangra 20.3 degrees, Mandi 17.4 degrees, Bilaspur 21.4 degrees respectively. The Met office forecast rain or thundershowers in the next 24 hours at few places and rain or thundershower at isolated places at foothills and high reaches.
