Night temperature continues under subzero in tribal districts of HP

Despite dry and pleasant weather in rest parts of Himachal Pradesh, cold waves and night temperature continue under subzero in the tribal Lahaul Spiti and Kinnaur districts.

 

The minimum temperature of Keylong, headquarter of Lahaul Spiti was recorded low at minus 12.8 degrees today, Kalpa of Kinnuar was  cold at minus 5.2 degrees, tourist resort Manali at 0.2 degrees, Solan and Bhuntar in Kullu 3 degrees, Bilaspur and Sundernagar in Mandi 4 degrees each, Shimla, and Palampur 5 degrees each, Hamirpur, Una and Kangra 6 degrees each and Dharamshala and Nahan of Sirmaur 9 degrees each respectively.

 

The Met office forecast mainly dry weather in the next 24 hours in the State and no major change in the weather.
