H.P. Cabinet decides to fill various vacant posts

    Himachal Pradesh Cabinet in its meeting held at Dharamshala today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh decided to fill up 50 posts of Junior Office Assistant (IT) on contract basis in the Department of Treasuries, Accounts and Lottery and five remaining posts of Welfare Organizers on contract basis in the Sainik Welfare Department. The Cabinet also decided to fill up one post of Deputy Director (Technical) in the department of Ayurveda by giving relaxation in the Recruitment and Promotion Rules.

     

    The Cabinet gave its approval to frame Recruitment and Promotion Rules for the post of District Public Relations Officers also known as Information Officers (Class-I Gazetted) by repealing the existing rules. The Cabinet decided to shift Division Number-I of Himachal Pradesh Public Works Department located at Kullu to Banjar in Kullu district and opening of a Sub Treasury Office at Mamleeg in Solan District.

     

    It was decided to rationalize tax up to 25 per cent instead of 50 per cent under CGCR Rates for such industries which are paying tax on transportation of the raw material as well as on the finished products.
