The minority Muslims community come out in large number from their home in the State to celebrate Eid-Ul-Zuha and joined the special prayers held in different mosques and Eid grounds in different parts of the State held peacefully. The HP State Governor Mr. Achyara Dev Vrat and Chief Minister Mr. Virbhadra SIngh greeted the people on the festival of Eid ul Zuha. The Walkf Board Chairman Mr. Khalilulla hosted at dinner Eidi party on the mall road in Shimla today.
The special Eid prayers were held at Jama Masjid in Middle bazzar, Eid Gaha maidan at Lakkar Bazar, Jama masjid at Bioleauganj, Choppal, Solan, Baddi, Nahan, Bilaspur, Mandi, Chamba and Dharmshala today. Main prayer was held at Eid gaha ground at Lakkar Bazar joined by large number of people.
Four persons were injured when two group of Muslim community resorted stone pelting on each other in Misserawala near Poantasahib this morning prevailing the tensions security forces have been deployed in the area. Injured have been rushed to the local hospital.
