Mandi MP demands recruitment without interview for class three and four posts

    Member Parliament Sh. Ram Swaroop Sharma today requested the Central Government to direct Himachal Pradesh government to abolish the interviews for class three and four posts for recruitment in government jobs on the analogy of Central Government.

    While speaking in zero hour in Lok Sabha, Mandi Member of Parliament Mr. Ram Swaroop Sharma told that there are around 8,92,988 unemployed youths seeking government jobs in Himachal Pradesh and added that around one lakh additional job aspirants are registered each year in the State.

    He said that the State Government advertised around twenty five thousand job vacancies in various categories in the government sector during the last three years and said that the merit was totally ignored in majority of the recruitments done by the State Government.

    He said that while Prime Minister Mr. Narender Modi announced abolition of interview for group C and D posts in the Central Government organizations two years back but this policy has not been followed by various States including Himachal Pradesh where elections are round the corner as result of which a great resentment has been felt in youths.

    Mandi MP Sh. Ram Swaroop Sharma said that Prime Minister Narender Modi has launched various skill development schemes for viable employment opportunities for unemployed youths to engage them in gainful economic activities and said that youths in hill state have shown keen interest in enrolment in these schemes which has immensely benefited them but lamented that these youths are greatly disappointed due to great nepotism and favouritism in recruitment for government sector and demanded complete ban on interview for Class C and D posts throughout country and demanded that these posts should be filled only on the basis of merit of written tests on the pattern of central government and requested central government to pass necessary directions in this regard to all state governments including Himachal Pradesh.
