South West Monsoon lashes parts of Himachal

South West monsoon lashed rainfall in HP in the last 24 hours in parts of Mandi, Solan, Chamba, Sirmour, Shimla, Kullu and Bilaspur district.

The Met office report said that significant rainfall lashed at Bijahi 43.2 mm , Sunnibhajji in Shimla 37.4 mm, Saluni 28 mm, Arki 16 mm, Rajgarh 15 mm, Bilaspur 14 mm, Shimla 10.8 mm, Khadrala 9.8 mm, Kotkhai 8 mm, Manali in Kullu 4.6 mm, Naina devi in Bilaspur 4.5 mm respectively.

The minimum temperature of Shimla was recorded as 17.6 degrees, Sundernagar in Mandi 23.7 degrees, Bhunter in Kullu 22 degrees, Kalpa 14.4 degrees, Una 27 degrees, Nahan 22.7 degrees, Solan 21.2 degrees, Manali 14.2 degrees, Keylong 17.5 degrees and Kangra 22.8 degrees respectively.

The Met office forecast rain and thundershower at isolated places in the next 24 hours. However it would be mainly dry in the rest of the State.
