CM inaugurates the International Shimla Summer Festival

The five-day long International Shimla Summer Festival opened with colourful start on Tuesday evening at the historic Ridge. Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh inaugurated the festival in which local people and tourists in large number participated with enthusiasm.

Chief Minister evinced keen interest in the cultural programmes presented during the first cultural evening of the festival. The Deputy Commissioner-cum-Chairman, International Shimla Summer Festival Organising Committee Shri Rohan Thakur honoured the Chief Minister and other guests on the occasion.

The Forest Minister Shri Thakur Singh Bharmauri, Mayor Shri Sanjay Chauhan, Chairperson, H.P Red Cross Hospital Welfare Section Smt. Pratibha Singh and other senior officers of the State Government were also present.
