The verbal dual between ruling BJP and Congress seems to have no end as the latter has accused Mr. Virbhadra Singh for parking ill-gotten money in a firm revealing another deal with M/s Star bag –AFCONS JV.
“It is crystal clear that this (M/s Mapple Destination and Dream Land Private Limited) company was formed to park illegal money acquired by Mr Virbhadrs Singh as Union Minister to purchase assets and subsequently earn rental income on these for his children” says Arun Singh Dhumal.
Leveling one more allegation Dhumal stated that in his last press conference Rupees 5.41 crore farmhouse deal at Mehrauli, New Delhi was high lighted on thursday and which is still waiting to be responded by Mr.Singh. Party would urge the Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Mr. Kalyan Singh to dismiss Mr. Singh’s government, as it has shown no sensitiveness to respond to such serious accusation.
As per the statement to income tax authorities, Mr. Picheswar Gadde had been sold out this farmhouse to Mr. Vikramaditya’s firm for Rupees 5.41 crore registering the deal for Rupees 1.20 crore on 25th August, 2011 when Virbhadra was the Union Minister in UPA.
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh’s family member was getting lakhs of rupees in from of rent from M/s Starbag-AFCONS JV, as a construction firm had engaged in Rohtang Tunnel in 2010 by erstwhile UPA government when former was in Union Ministry.
Raising this issue in the press conference here today Mr. Arun Kumar Dhumal has alleged that while fighting Lok Sabha Election from Mandi parliamentary segment on Oct 17, 2012 Mr. Singh has filed an affidavit however but did not mention any residential or commercial property with respect to him or his family members however there is information that above firm has been paying lakhs of rupees as rent to one of the members of his family.
The Multi-billion contract of Rohtang Tunnel was awarded to this company by the UPA governrment and Mr. Singh was part of it.
BJP leader who is younger son of leader of opposition and former Chief Minister Mr. Prem Kumar Dhumal charged that it would turn out to be a blessing for royal ruling family to keep on enjoying the rental income of lakhs for two more years.
“Party alleged that Mr. Singh made crores of rupees as Union Minister through corrupt means, and investing that money to buy various assets in the name of his family members which he has not disclosed and then has been earning lakhs of rupees as rental income on those assets ” Arun Kumar Dhumal concludedo
