Three new cases of swine flu tested positive in Himachal Pradesh

    Three more cases of swine flu were registered in Indira Gandhi Medical College hospital here. Senior Medical Superintend, Mr Ramesh Chand told Himvani that one of the suspected cases admitted in IGMC is from Kangra while the other one is from Sirmaur.

    Samples of H1N1 virus have been taken from three more patients and in the mean while they have been given Tamiflu medication. Amit Kumar from Solan had succumbed in the hospital yesterday due to swine flu. Last week also more than half dozen cases were tested positive for H1N1 virus forcing the administration to take serious precautions. IGMC, Shimla and Dr. Rajinder Prasad Medical College hospitals have already been equipped with facilities as all swine flu tests are being carried out here.
