Himuda to develop five parks in Shimla

With an aim of giving more facilities to children and tourists the Himachal Pradesh Urban Development Authority (HIMUDA) has taken a decision to develop five new parks in Shimla by taking help of Municipal Corporation.

Urban Development Minister Shri Sudhir Sharma disclosed the news in a meeting today. The proposal of setting up residential colonies in different parts of the State was also discussed. He laid emphasis on proper utilization of the surplus land available with different departments as these lands could further be used as residential houses for employees of the concerned departments.
