Three day long Bharat Nirman Public Information Campaign concludes at Jaisinghpur

The three day long Bharat Nirman Public Information Campaign organized by Press Information Bureau Shimla and other media units of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting with help of district administration came to an end at Jaisinghpur yesterday. The concluding day was dedicated for ICDS and NHRM schemes.

Local MLA Yadvinder Goma presided over the valedictory function, lauded the efforts of organizers for dissemination of information in the rural areas.

Addressing public, Mr. Goma said that centre government is organizing such programs in the far flung areas, which would help to implement scheme effectively to benefit the people at their door step.

National flagship program were empowering the masses after making them economically independent providing them best services and improving their life standards, he said.

Mr. Goma also urged the representatives of Panchayati Raj institutions to share information gathered in the program with more people in the villages so that they could also get benefits of these schemes.

Veteran Congress leader and former MLA Milkhi Ram Goma also addressed the audience complimenting the organizers to organize this event.

SDM Jaisinghpur Vikram Mahajan also spoke on the benefit of Right to Information scheme disclosing that people are coming forward to get information.

This was the 19th Bharat Nirman Public Information Campaign held in Himachal Pradesh.
