Shimla (Dec 17): Fire broke out at Suna-Bathal villages near Nerwa in this district overnight gutted property to tunes of many lakhs destroying two house completely, police report said.
According to naib tehsildar of Nerwa Mast, Ram Kashyap, two houses belonging to Mamm Husain and Hashmudin in Muslim Gujjar dominated Suna-Bathal village, were gutted by a devastating fire rendering the two families homeless in the biting cold last night. The inferno was so intense that it quickly engulfed the two houses, however families living the houses were evacuated safely but all belongings of the victims were destroyed.
