Disaster Management Authority in Himachal soon

DHARAMSALA:Himachal Pradesh will soon have a Disaster Management Authority under the chairmanship of the chief minister. Other major decisions taken by the government:

The cabinet sanctioned creation of 261 posts of different categories in various departments of the state government.
The cabinet also decided to take over GGDSD College at Baijnath and DAV College and Senior Secondary School at Daulatpur Chowk in Una.
The government also approved Himachal Pradesh Ground Water (Regulation and Control of Development and Management) Rules-2006. These rules will not apply to traditional water wells.

The government decided to exempt the ethanol-blended petrol from the provisions of Punjab Excise Act, 1914.
