Doctors lambasted Congress Government for non compliance of assurances

    Himachal Pradesh Medical Officer Association (HMOA) today lambasted Mr. Virbhadra Singh Government for non compliance of its order and assurances given by Mr.Singh during the consultations with HPMOA.

    President of HMOA Mr. Sant Lal Sharma and General Secretary Mr. Jiwa Nand Chauhan said in a press statement issued today that State health secretary and Director of health were responsible for non-compliance of orders given by Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh after having consultations with the stirring member of the HMOA long time back.

    Expressing deep indignation HMOA alleged that the State Administration and Health Department were not serious to consider their pending demands.

    They demanded action against those errant officers who did not act on the demands since six months have passed. The alleged that neither doctors’ seniority list is prepared nor provisions have been made to provide security arrangements to the serving doctors on their duty.

    Doctors were feeling betrayed as there is stagnation among various cadres as no promotion was done due to delay in preparation of the seniority lists of medical. They alleged that many senior doctors are waiting for their promotions.
