Arvind Kejriwal stands firm against Virbhadra Singh

Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal today refused to seek an apology in a reply sent to Union Minister Virbhadra Singh responding to the threat issued by latter to file a criminal defamation suit against the former. In his reply, Arvind Kejriwal stated that he was enclosing a CD containing purported discussion of Union Minister and his wife about some money deals on the basis of which media has reported this issue several times against Virbhadra Singh.

He said that the CD containing voices of Mr Singh and his wife having some discussion over alleged money deal should be probed. An FIR has been already been registered against Virbhadhra Singh and his wife in this matter in a police station in Shimla. Mr. Kejriwal also said that the plea of Union Minister seeking quashing of case against him has been turned down by Himachal Pradesh High court.

Posing question mark into the issue, he asked how it could be defamatory to discuss the issue in the public when the matter is already before the court. In his three page reply Arvind Kejriwal has also said that insted of him seeking an apology, Virbhadra Singh should seek an apology from the people who had voted him so many times to become the for the Chief Minister in the state while they got Land scam, Kattha Kand, Recruitment scam and CD scam in return.
