Shimla (Aug 18): In order to identify and recognize young scientific brains of Shimla city, and to create scientific temperament among school students and provide them exposure, RKMV, Shimla, will organize a science function on 27th August, 2011.
The event will be held in two categories i.e. junior section (students from 9th or 10th class) and in senior section (students from 11th or 12th class). Evaluation will be made by the jury of scientists and academicians. Evaluation procedure will include written test (objective type): physics, chemistry, maths, biology, computers, GK and mental ability; and chart preparation (yo be made at home in advance): health and nutrition, role of physics in our life, hydel power projects in HP and nano-technology. About forty schools are expected to participate in this science function.
