Four more PG seats for IGMC

    Shimla (Jan 13) Himachal Pradesh, Premier Health Institution, Indira Gandhi Government Medical College (IGMC) has been permitted by Medical Council of India (MCI) to run two seats  each in Post Graduate Courses of Psychiatry and DM (Super specialty) in Department of Cardiology from coming academic session.
    In a sanction communiqué sent to the Chief Minister Office, MCI has granted permission to the State Government to start the Post Graduate Courses in Psychiatry and D M (Super Speciality) Department of Cardiology.

    State Government has claimed total 39 seats of PG has gone up in the IGMC and Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College and Hospital, Tanda, Kangra district during its rule and still hopes to get four more PG seat two each in Pulmonary Medicine and CTVS courses thereby increasing the total number of  PG seats to 79 in all.
