Three-day police remand for drug peddlers



Shimla (Jan 12): Two persons held with illicit consignment of narcotic substance yesterday were sent in three-day police remand by a local court here.

The duo were caught with 920 gms of illicit charas and 530 gms of opium near Shogi when a team of CID lead by DSP Sunil Negi nabbed them yesterday morning. The accused, identified as Partap Singh of Ani area of Kullu district, and Manoj Kumar of Chaily of this district, have been booked under various sections of NDPS Act.
