Shimla: 420 MW Reoli-Dugli hydro electric project in Lahaul Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, which was earlier awarded to a digital firm, M/s Moserbaer Ltd has been realloted to Loc-motive major M/s. Larsen and Toubro (L&T) as former could not fulfill the necessary commitment made to government, senior official of state government confirmed. According to State Secretary (Power) Ajay Tyagi, 420 MW Reoli Dugli hydropower project has been realloted to L&T as Moserbaer had failed to meet its financial commitments made to government. This decision has been taken by state cabinet recently after considering that L&T agreed to pay the bid as offered by the previous company. This re-allotment was being done after the first highest bidder failed to deposit the upfront premium of Rs.80 crore with the government.
