19th Jun: Foundation stone of 2nd Patanjali Yog Peeth at Sadhupul in district Solan was laid.

24th Jun: Himachal Pradesh adjudged the best in implementation of 20-point Programme in the country by Planning Commission.

28th Jun. UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi inaugurates 8.80 kms Rohtang Tunnel work.

2nd July:. Himachal Pradesh won National Award for best enrolment under Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojna.

15th Aug: Daily wages of workers increased from Rs. 110 to Rs 120 from 1st October, 2010.

31st Aug: HPTDC gets ISO certification.

25th Sep: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal launched third phase of ‘Polythene Hatao-Paryavaran Bachao’ campaign from Shimla.

30th Sep: Himachal Pradesh gets Agriculture Leadership Award 2010 in a function organised by agriculture research magazine “Agriculture Today” at New Delhi.

2nd Oct: Shimla declared ‘Smoking Free’ city.

11th Oct: Biometric Smart Card Scheme commissioned after successful experiment in district Una for replication in rest of 11 districts of the state.

4th Nov: World’s ‘tallest’ statue of Lord Hanuman at historic Jakhu Temple complex installed.

19th Nov: Himachal Pradesh gets ‘Best Big State’ award for overall performance amongst all states in the country in ‘State of States’ survey-2010 conducted by India Today magazine.

22nd Nov: CM lays foundation stone of biggest Agriculture Marketing Yard at Parala near Theog in district Shimla to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 100 crore.

24th Nov: Foundation stone of Rs-150 crore Super-specialty Hospital at Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda in Kangra district laid.

25th Dec: Atal Swasthya Sewa launched in six districts of the state under which free ambulance service was launched.
