Shimla (Dec 29) Coming close to photography enthusiasts in the town, Nikon India, the 100 percent subsidiary of Nikon Corporation, today announced the launch of its first Nikon COOLPIX Zone in the city.
Managing Director, Nikon India Hiroshi Takashina, inaugurating Himachal’s first COOLPIX Zone at Sohans Studio on the Mall, here today told media persons that Nikon had adopted the shop-in-shop retail concept in the month of February last year to enable ready access to its products and services.
“Photography lovers in Shimla can now have an easy access to the entire range of COOLPIX cameras and make an informed choice,” he said.
Takashina said, “The launch of Nikon’s COOLPIX Zone in Shimla is a major step towards not only strengthening our brand but also promoting photography culture in India in a big way. We hope the new COOLPIX zone enhance customer engagement, buying experience and augment access and availability and are certain that this initiative of Nikon will be received well by consumers in Shimla”.
