Shimla (Dec 18): Fire broke out in a scrap shop at Shogi in the suburb of Shimla last night, destroying property worth lakhs of rupees, police said here today. The fire broke out near Guldharan Bhavan in the market at around 1.30 am. A fire tender was pressed into operation, which controlled the flames just in time to prevent nearby building from catching fire. The reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained.
