Shimla (Dec 14): Himachal Pradesh University would have another girls’ hostel as the Union government has granted Rs 3.61 crore for this purpose, vice-chancellor SK Gupta disclosed this here today. Hailing the gesture, he said the university has already got the first installment of the above-sanctioned grant and construction work on it will start very soon to make it ready for the next academic session.
