Shimla: The State Election Commission (SEC) has assured to look into the matter of transfer of four police officials on December 1, 2010 during imposition of model code of conduct in state in view of PRI elections. State Election Commissioner Dev Swaroop while talking to media persons here said that issue of transfers of four IPS officers has first time come to his knowledge and he will inquire in to the matter. “State government has not sought any permission from the Election Commission for transferring these police officials,” he said. A model code of conduct has come in to force in state immediately after SEC on November 29.
