Shimla: In order to draw the attention of society towards unprivileged disabled living among us, Udan a local social welfare organization organized a function on World Disability Day, which was held at Kalibari hall today. The Chief Patron of Udan Sanjay Sood addressed the gathering on this occasion and urged the participants to transform the life of the disabled by considering them integral part of our society and by taking the section along, giving them their due rights and privilege like normal citizens. Times of India news group also organized a health checkup camp for the disabled on this occasion in which doctors gave medical assistance to number of disabled people. A cultural programme and sports events were also organised on the ocassion. In the end prizes were distributed to those children who took part in cultural programme.
