Chamba: Saach Pass over the Pir Panjal range, connecting Chamba with Pangi valley, has been opened for vehicular traffic. Situated at an altitude of above 4,400 meters, the pass remains closed due to heavy snow for almost six months. Last year, the 167-km Satrundi-Bogotu road was opened, which has cut down travelling distance all through Kangra, Mandi,Kullu and Lahual & Spiti district districts.
