Single girl child to get easy access in Y.S. Parmar varsity



Solan: Dr. Y. S Parmar University for Forestry and Horticulture at Nauni has declared softer norms for admissions for single girl child to give them easy access to education. This will help in achieving the broad objective to check social-evil of female feticide and other discrimination in the country. A university spokesman said in a release issued here today that university would launch this derive right from next academic session after relaxing the admission norms for single girl child. Similarly, Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) at Shimla has declared on May 16, 2010 to create and reserve an extra seat and for single girl child during its admission in graduate, postgraduate and M. Phil courses.
