Shimla: State hospitals have succeeded in making 1480 deliveries after the announcement of the ‘Janani Suraksha Yojna’ compared to 892 operated upon during preceding year. Also, Union Health Minister would inaugurate new projects at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Kangra at Tanda by the end of November, 2010. This was stated by chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal in his address that he delivered in HIM-GYNAECON-2010′ state level annual conference-cum-CME, organised by Himachal Pradesh Obstetric and Gynaecological Society at Una last evening.
