Horticulture minister of Arunachal meets his HP counterpart

Shimla: H.N. Gandan, Horticulture Minister of Arunachal Pradesh called on Narendra Bragta, Horticulture Minister here today. Both the ministers discussed matters of common interest especially in the field of horticulture.  Narendra Bragta said that both Himachal and Arunachal Pradesh had similar topography and both states could learn from the experiences of each other.

He said that both the states should cooperate in the field of horticulture, flower cultivation, bee keeping, mushroom cultivation, tissue culture techniques, medicinal plants and advanced horticulture practices.  He also emphasised on the need of a common platform of all the north eastern and western himalayan states so that the matters of mutual interest could be pursued vigorously with the government of India. He said that Himachal would provide all possible help to the state of Arunachal Pradesh in the field of horticulture and allied sectors and will also look forward to gain from the experiences of Arunachal Pradesh in this field.
