Students take out rally to create awareness about universalisation of education

Una: On the second day of the three-day  Bharat Nirman Jan Suchna Abhiyan being organised by the Press Information Bureau Shimla at Thana kalam in Una district, the children of various schools took out awareness rally on universalisation of  education. The rally was flagged off by the SP of Una, Santosh Patial and organiser of the campaign, PIB in charge, Ratan Lal Negi led the rally which was  participated in by the Asstt. Director PIB Chandigarh, Kapil Pardhan and other official centre government .

More than 400 children of the senior secondary school Thana Kalan, Kutlehar public school and Thana Kalan public model institute took part in the rally . The main aim of the rally was also to reduce the drop out rate in schools and root out the attitude of discrimination against the girl child from the society.
