McLeodganj: An exhibition of paintings by Kelsang Dekyi and Sonam Lhamo opened at Tibet Museum here on Saturday. The exhibition is the first in a series of three international exhibitions showcasing some 30-odd artworks by the young artists. The paintings are a window to Tibetan emotions, conceptions and mood that reveal not only their inheritance, but also their future aspirations. The exhibition aims to serve Tibetan cause by conveying physical and emotional status of Tibetans within and outside Tibet through the medium of art. The exhibition is open till June 24. The artworks will be exhibited in Kalstard University of Sweden from August 15 to 24 and in Paris, France, from September 1 to 14.

Another exhibition titled ‘Strokes of Kangra’ depicting miniature paintings, was inaugurated at Bhagsu Hotel on Saturday.
