Shimla (Nov 9): Himachal Pradesh health and family welfare minister Rajeev Bindal made a surprise visit to the directorate of health and family welfare today. Bindal took a serious view of the officers/officials found absent from their respective duties and those who were late and directed the competent authority to take strict action against erring officials.
The minister also held a meeting with the director, health and family welfare; managing director, NRHM, and other officers of health services and asked them to ensure implementation of policies and programmes of the government in health sector effectively.
