Shimla (Nov 4): Balraj Sawhney Theatre Group would be setting up an acting school in Himachal Pradesh to polish theatrical talents in the state and expose them to the film world. This was stated by Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal after a meeting with actor Parikshit Sawhney, son of late Balraj Sawhney, who had his roots in Shimla.
Chief Minister said that the state government was creating infrastructural facilities to cater to the requirements of the film producers and shoot their movies in various virgin locations in different parts of the state. He said that efforts were afoot to develop a film city where all basic facilities would be made available to the film producers so that they had not to bring alongwith them equipments and manpower to manage their shootings.
Parikshit Sawhney assured that the Group would also be contributing towards development of a Film City in Himachal Pradesh.
