Mandi (Oct 25): A free medical camp was organised at village Mahadev near Sundernagar in district Mandi on October 24 by a local social organisation Sahyog and Rotary Club, Sundernagar.
The camp started with medical check-up of local MLA Dile Ram. According to president SAHYOG, this was for the first time that this type of camp was organised at village Mahadev. He said more than 800 persons took advantage of the free medical check-up and were given free medicines. Residents of various localities in the outskirts of Sundernagar town were seen visiting the camp.
Umesh Gautam, president of Rotary Club, Sundernagar, who along with his team was present at the camp site, said that 10 expert doctors were present in the camp and medicines worth Rs 1.75 lakhs were distributed. He said that Rotary Club, Sundernagar, had been organising such camps in the interior areas of Mandi.
