Hercules MTB Himachal to be flagged off on Oct 23 from Shimla

Shimla: The sixth edition of Hercules MTB Himachal-2010 will be flagged off on
October 23 from Shimla. This year’s race will cover approximately 550 kms passing through Narkanda, Tani Jubar, Rampur, Sarahan, Nirmand, Baghipul, Sainj, etc.

More than 70 riders have already confirmed their participation in the current edition of the race. Teams representing Indian army, air force and adventure wings of paramilitary forces will also be part of the contingent of riders participating in the race.

Seven riders from Himachal too have confirmed their participation to take up the arduous challenge, this being the highest participation of Himachalis ever since the event started in 2005.

Hercules MTB Himachal is one of its own kind event in the country trying to promote eco-friendly adventure sport of mountain cycling. It is billed as one of the toughest MTB races across the world. This year’s event is being promoted in association with TI cycles & Himachal Tourism through the Incredible India campaign.
