Shimla: National award-winning filmmaker from Shimla, Vivek Mohan, this year is part of the five-member coveted jury for selecting non-feature films to be screened at the 41st International Film Festival of India in Goa from November 22 to December 2.

“Being considered competent enough for such a responsibility is an honour in itself,” said Vivek Mohan from Delhi before leaving for Kullu Dusehra via Shimla where his award winning film on Malana is to be screened.

The aim of the Indian Panorama organised by the Directorate of Film Festivals, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, is to select feature (fiction) and non-feature (documentaries etc.) films of cinematic, thematic and aesthetic excellence for non-profit promotion of film art at international film festivals in India and abroad, India film weeks held under bilateral cultural exchange programmes and specified Indian Panorama festivals in India, like the one held in Shimla this year.
