Shimla (Oct 6): Hearing into the graft case against Union Steel Minister Virbhadra Singh was adjourned for October 23 today even as the persecution filed the certified copy of Himachal Pradesh High Court judgment issued on September 30 in the court.
As the hearing commenced, the persecution submitted certified copy of the high court order after which the special court (forest) presided by B L Soni, adjourned the hearing till October 23 to take further cognizance over the state challen being put up by the persecution seeking court trail against the Union minister in which he has been charged of indulged in money deals.
Himachal Pradesh High Court on September 30 had dismissed Virbhadra and his wife Pratibha Singh’s petition filed on September 15 seeking transfer of a corruption case registered against them by the State Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau to CBI.
