Shimla: Himachal Pradesh High Court on Monday reserved the judgment in Union Steel Minister Virbhadra and his wife Pratibha Singh’s second petition filed under Article 226 of the Indian constitutions on September 15, seeking transferring of corruption case registered against them by the state vigilance and anti-corruption bureau to CBI.

The divisions bench of High Court comprising Chief Justice Kurian Josesph and Justice Deepak Gupta reserved the judgment after hearing 10-hour-long intense arguments for three days by the counsels for the two parties.

It may be reminded that in August 2009, a case was filed under the Prevention of Corruption Act against former Himachal Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and his wife Pritibha Singh, whose voices have been recorded in the CD in an alleged corruption deal.
