Shimla: Himachal Pradesh University, department of physics, recently organised a seminar to generalise Einstein’s equation E=mc2, in which Ajay Sharma, secretary, Fundamental Physics Society, delivered his presentation on the subject.

Addressing the seminar, Sharma stressed the need to generalise Einstein’s equation, claiming that the 105-year-old derivation by the veteran physicist comes true only under special conditions and should be modified. He said that under general conditions, the equation violates the “law of conservation of matter.”

Exploring the topic, he put forth various applications and examples where Einstein’s derivation miserably fails to explain them. He generalised Einstein’s mass energy equation as “dE = Ac2dm”.

He claimed that his generalized equation explains those experimental facts which are not explained by the equation. “It also fails to put any light on the “Big Bang Theory” which deals with the origin of universe,” he said.

Hailing the work done by Mr. Sharma on the subject, an expert Dr MR Verma observed in the seminar: “He has brought the Einstein’s modification to this stage where 120 crore Indian should encourage him to keep the efforts up.”

Sharma got the honour to attend number of conferences and seminar abroad, including USA and England, where his work has been
Received wide appreciation.

  1. I have in fact tried to explore the genuineness of claims by this researcher. But found no acknowledgment from any of the peer reviewed literature. This is unusual especially in a true international enterprises of science where there is no room for the prejudices and biases.
Except the repeated claims in Hindi vernaculars and posts like this where the name of the author is even missing, these tall claims have no sound footings. Even in this post there is no mention about the participants including the HPU faculty member and students.
I am sorry to say but there appears some psychological deviations in such propaganda to instantly catch attention, that too in a society driven by gossips of vernaculars.
