Manikaran: Five members of a family, including three women and two children, were buried alive at Chaojhs village near Manikaran in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh as their house was hit by a huge rolling boulder on Tuesday night, a senior police official said.
SP Kullu KK Indoria told HimVani over phone today that five members of two families sleeping in the house belonging to one Vikram Singh were killed when it collapsed last night. The victims were identified as Kubaja Devi (55), Bhupinder Singh (11) and Nirmala (17) wife, son and daughter of the owner, Shalu Devi (25) and Jiwan Lata (6), wife and daughters of one Tek Chand. The police have retrieved the bodies. The owner of the house was not at home when the accident occurred.
