Shimla: More deaths have been reported int satte due to the rise inrain related accidents, occurring in last 24 hrs, when monsoon hit few places in the state for the second consecutive day. The worst rain hit district, Sirmour saw the death of Anil who was crushed under a massive tree at Haripurdhar near Nahan. On the other hand, few days back 72 yrs old Retd assistant ETO, Sumera Chand Saini was buried alive when a landslides hit his house. In a separate accident a 7 yrs old Vishab was injured in a mishap in Nahan. In another report received from Nadon on Hamirpur district, a 9 yrs old died when he was trapped inside siltted water of Mankhad (rivulet ). Meanwhile, water and power supply to rain hit Nahan town and others areas of the district were yet to be restored. The traffic was also frequently interrupted on Hindustan-Tibet national highway-22 between Shimla and Kufri and on the Hartkoti-Theog state highway, as road was slippery and full of slush.
