Shimla: For the first time, the annual Raid-de-Himalaya rally would culminate at Manali instead of Leh. As per the organisers, this is being done to avoid inconvenience to people involved in relief work in the cloudburst-ravaged area. The rally would be organized from October 10 to 15.

The Raid would cover a distance of about 2,500 kilometers and would culminate at Manali on October 15, passing through Shimla, Nalagarh, Solan, Manali, Kaza, Keylong, Sarchu and back to Manali. The rally will concentrate around  Spiti for the most part using the rough roads around Kaza to provide scenic backdrops to the international event.
