Dharamshala: The Himachal Pradesh School Education Board has cancelled the affiliation of 26 private senior secondary schools as part of the first phase of drive to check proliferation of schools with sub-standard infrastructure. 152 private schools offering science subjects were scrutinised as part of the drive, and those granted affiliation have been allowed to admit students ranging from a minimum 15 to maximum 240 according to facilities available at the schools.
