Two apple growers from Kinnaur killed in road mishap

Shimla: Two young apple growers belonging to Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh were killed and two others injured when a loaded apple carrier fell into a gorge at Khoparidhank near Rampur town on the Hindustan-Tibet national highway, spilling thousands of apple boxes down the hill last night, police said here today.

32-yr-old Tilak Raj belonging to Panvai village and 20-yr-old Sanjeev of Ramani village died on the spot as the Multiexcell truck on way to Delhi market met with an accident at around 1.30 am last night. Two others injured, reported critical, were admitted at Khanari Zonal Hospital.
