Two die, including a Himachali youth, carrying apple to Delhi

Shimla: A Himachali youth and a mechanic were crushed to death by a vehicle near Larsauli village,  15 km from Sonepat in Haryan, police source said today. The accident occurred last night when the victims were repairing their truck and were hit by a vehicle on the national highway, killing them on the spot. The truck, loaded with apples, was on its way to Delhi from Shimla and it developed a mechanical defect near Larsauli village. The victims were identified as Tanjan, a resident of Noori village of Himachal Pradesh and Ranjit, a mechanic of Qumashpur village of Sonepat. A case has been registered against unknown persons.
