Shimla: Himachal Pradesh government has constituted a state-level Nathpa Jhakri Project and Baspa Project Oustee Rehabilitation and Advisory Committee to monitor the progress in implementation of rehabilitation of people affected by the two projects.
An official spokesperson said here today that revenue minister would be the chairman of the committee. He said that the members of the committee would be chief secretary, FC-cum- principal secretary (revenue), principal secretary (power), principal secretary (I&PH), principal secretary (forest), deputy commissioner-Shimla, deputy commissioner- Kinnaur, chairman of Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd., New Shimla, chairman/representative of JP Industries, Baspa Project, principal chief conservator of forest, Shimla, chief engineer (I&PH), Shimla, and superintending engineer (NH), Public Works Department. He said that the concerned additional/joint/deputy/under secretary to the government of HP in the revenue department would be the secretary of the committee.
